The company "Mze da Ghvino" produces wine in Bakurtsikhe village of Gurjaani municipality. During wine making, alcoholic fermentation takes place using the traditional Kakhetian method, only in a“Qvevri” together with the total amount of grape, skin, and seeds. After finishing the alcoholic fermentation, the wine with all its whole mass is left in a“Qvevri” for at least 6 months. The vineyards are located in the administrative territory of the village of Bakurtsikhe, Gurjaani municipality, in a favorable place for quality winemaking, on the low exposure of the 3-4° slope of the North Eastern slopes of the Gombori ridge, on the right bank of the Alazani River, at an altitude of 350-750m above sea level. The annual total of atmospheric precipitation is 770mm, during the vegetation period - 585mm, it's duration is 210 days. On the surface of the soil, which is humus-carbonate, the average annual temperatureis 15°C. In July-August, the average temperature of the soil surface is the highest and reaches 30°C.
